Restaurant had a BOGO on fried chicken sandwich. I got their honey butter chicken and was shocked at receiving this abomination. On top of that, the chicken was overcooked and super dry.

Ok but where are the onions, salad etc?
FancySkull
Pretty sure in many countries this would be seen as false advertising as it didn’t even come with any toppings, unless you specifically asked for no toppings?

It’s plum full of sadness…

Was it from a ghost kitchen?

That’s false advertisement to the max. They didn’t even give a single pickle or a lick of sauce.

I get that the actual product never lives up to the image and I am ok with that, BUT you are clearly missing ingredients and that is enough to complain and either get the right one or your money back.

Most honey butter chicken sandwiches are served like that. You weren’t scammed. You are just ignorant of the menu and its items.

If you have an air fryer and have access to a Costco or Sam’s , do yourself a favor and start making them at home if you can.
Kirkland, just bare, and the Sam’s brand are all really good and about 1/4 or less the cost of buying one at a restaurant.
I cook mine, make a sauce with 50/50 honey and Valentinos hot sauce, throw a few pickles and shredded lettuce on. Tastes better imo, is faster, and much cheaper.
Looks like it’s a little light on toppings and the wrong bun.

First bad sign, that ad is AI generated.

You ordered fast food and expected anything other than absolute garbage? That’s just on you for not having proper expectations
Grand_Protector_Dark
That’s the saddest looking chicken burger I’ve ever seen.
Like, it’s not even trying to be a sad approximation of the advertisement, it’s just a sad patty.

Looks like school cafeteria food.

Did you ask for it plain?

while this is blatantly false advertising, you are never going to get a burger that looks like that because photographers use toxic ingredients to make the advertisement such as wax engine oil paint glue and other

Bonus sauce recipe for these :
1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 tbs bbq sauce, 2 tbs honey/agave, 1/4 teaspoons smoked paprika, 1 tbs Dijon.

Go try the one at PDQ it 🔥.
Wait are you trying to imply that AI generated images of food from a ghost kitchen are misleading? That doesn’t sound right at all.
